About the event
Join us for snacks and a meeting of Democrats and progressives in Colonial Heights! You'll meet our new Vice-Chair, Joanna Lauen, and Secretary-Treasurer, Alex de Saint Phalle. We'll organize for the Spring, including plans for:
• Volunteer recruitment "deep canvass" in key neighborhoods in Colonial Heights
• Voter registration/volunteer recruitment at bus stops on MLK and Philosopher's Way Trail race (possibly)
• An on-going "Welcome to Vote" neighborhood voter registration campaign
We will talk about ways to support candidates in Alamance, Wake, and beyond through the County-to-County program, and we will learn about about Wilmington-area candidates for NC General Assembly, Adam Ericson (HD20), Marcia Morgan (HD19), and James Dawkins (HD19).
